PRIVACY POLICY

Last updated: 21 October 2026

Semopti SRL attaches particular importance to the protection of your personal data and to respecting your privacy.

This policy explains which data may be collected when you use our website, for which purposes it is processed, on what legal basis, for how long it is retained, and what rights you have.

Personal data is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and the applicable Belgian data protection legislation.

1. DATA CONTROLLER

The data controller is:

Semopti SRL
Company number: BE 0665.609.644
Address: 77 avenue de la Floride, 1180 Brussels
Email: info@semopti.be
Telephone: +32 478 31 76 52

2. WHAT DATA DO WE PROCESS?

Depending on how you use our website or contact Semopti, we may process the following categories of data:

– first and last name;
– email address;
– telephone number;
– content of your request or message;
– data relating to a request for a quotation or a commercial relationship;
– IP address and certain technical data relating to your browser or device;
– data required to manage a contractual relationship, invoicing, and compliance with our administrative and accounting obligations;
– data relating to the use of our website when you have consented to audience measurement cookies.

We do not intentionally collect, through our website, special categories of personal data within the meaning of Article 9 of the GDPR.

3. CONTACT FORMS

When you use a contact form on the Semopti website, the information you provide is used to process and respond to your request.

The forms may in particular collect your first name, last name, email address, telephone number and the content of your request.

Form submissions are also stored in the website’s WordPress database in order to ensure proper follow-up of requests and to reduce the risk of losing a message in the event of an email transmission problem.

Where your request does not lead to a commercial or contractual relationship, the data stored through the form is retained for a maximum period of 12 months from the last exchange, unless a longer retention period is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

The processing of a contact or quotation request is based, depending on the nature of the request, on the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at your request and/or on Semopti’s legitimate interest in ensuring proper follow-up of its commercial contacts.

4. SPAM PROTECTION – CLOUDFLARE TURNSTILE

In order to protect its forms against bots, automated submissions and abusive use, Semopti uses Cloudflare Turnstile, provided by Cloudflare.

Turnstile analyses certain technical information relating to the request, browser and user environment in order to determine whether the interaction appears to come from a legitimate user.

Certain technical data, including the IP address, may therefore be transmitted to Cloudflare.

Cloudflare Turnstile does not access the content you enter in the form fields and does not transmit the content of your request to Cloudflare.

This processing is based on Semopti’s legitimate interest in securing its website and forms and in preventing spam and abuse.
